Sands from China the sponsorship of the race is part of the company’s continued support for the development of sport and sport tourism in Macau, in favor of Macau the government’s tourism + initiative. It also supports the government’s dedication to hosting the 68th Macau Grand Prix despite the current challenges of the pandemic, with the aim of injecting more positive energy into society through the city’s iconic event.
The management and team members of Sands China Ltd. were headed by the president of the company, Dr. Wilfred wong to see the cars bearing the Sands China logo on the starting grid and to attend the post-race awards ceremony on Sunday.
Pilot representative Macau, Hong Kong, and the mainland competed in the Sands China Macau GT Cup, driving premium racing cars from Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi and BMW.
Sands China hopes the race can be a way to support local sports fans and foster exchange opportunities to help raise their international competitiveness.
